## What you can do

- **Talk in channels.** Team channels are open to everyone in your tenant to find and join. A private channel is read only by the people you add.
- **Send direct messages.** Pick one person or several. The same people always share the same conversation.
- **Reply in threads.** Open any message's thread to keep a side conversation out of the main flow.
- **See what needs you.** Activity lists your unread mentions and replies until you have read them.
- **Search.** One field finds people in your tenant and your conversations.

## One tenant at a time

CoLab works in the tenant you are acting in. If you belong to more than one, CoLab asks which one first, and you only see that tenant's conversations.
