**Effective October 30, 2026**

This notice covers "consumer health data", as Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's SB 370 and Connecticut's privacy law define it, that daemn may hold. It adds to our [Privacy Policy](/privacy).

# What health data we may hold

daemn does not ask for health information. But you may enter some in **Gather**: for example, that a recipe is nut-free, that someone you cook for has an allergy, or that a meal plan follows a medical diet. If you type something like that into Gather's AI features, the words you typed are included.

# How we collect it

Only when you enter it yourself. We do not collect it from anywhere else, and **we do not infer health conditions** from what you cook, plan or buy.

# Why we use it

Only to provide what you asked for: to store it, show it back to you (your Gather content is private to you, even from others in your space), and, if you put it into an AI feature, to have Claude answer you.

# Who we share it with

- **Anthropic**, our AI provider, only for words you put into an AI feature. Anthropic does not train on them and deletes them within 30 days, except content its safety systems flag, which may be kept for up to 2 years.
- **Microsoft Azure**, which hosts daemn's data.

**We never sell consumer health data**, and we never share it for advertising.

# Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what health data we hold about you, give you a copy, delete it, or tell you who we shared it with. You can also withdraw your consent by deleting the data in Gather.

Write to [daemn256+privacy@gmail.com](mailto:daemn256+privacy@gmail.com). We answer within 45 days. If we say no, you can appeal by replying, and we answer appeals within 60 days.
