What is CoLab?
CoLab is team chat for your tenant: channels, direct and group messages, and threads. Start with Getting started with CoLab.
Can I message someone in another tenant?
No. Every conversation belongs to exactly one tenant, and CoLab shows only the conversations of the tenant you are acting in. If you belong to several tenants, each one has its own conversations.
What is the difference between a team channel and a private channel?
Everyone in your tenant can find and join a team channel from Browse channels. A private channel is read only by the people added to it.
Where do I see mentions and replies to me?
Open Activity. It lists your unread mentions and replies, and each one stays there until you have read it.
Who can create a team channel?
A CoLab admin, from Manage channels. Deleting a team channel removes its messages and files for everyone, so only admins can do that too. Anyone who may start conversations can make a private channel.
