What the kit is

The kit is a set of instructions for your own AI. It tells the assistant what Gather is, sets its house rules, and gives it a job to do: format a recipe you found so Gather can read it. The house rules matter most. Your AI must never invent anything, and it leaves a gap blank rather than guess.

How it works

  1. Give your AI the instructions, then the recipe: a link, a photo of a handwritten card, or a document.
  2. Your AI writes a recipe CSV.
  3. Upload or paste the CSV on Gather's Add recipes page.
  4. Gather checks every recipe and shows you a preview. A recipe with a gap comes in as a draft for you to finish.
  5. Press Import. Nothing is saved before that.
