What is Gather?
Gather is a dinner planner. It keeps your recipes, suggests a week of dinners from them, and writes one shopping list for that week. Start with Getting started with Gather.
Does Gather send my recipes to an AI?
No. Gather never calls an AI. If you want help from one, you copy a prompt into your own assistant and bring back the CSV it writes. Gather then checks it like any other file.
Can I see amounts in cups instead of grams?
Yes. Choose US customary or Metric in the top bar, in the You sheet's Settings, or beside the servings when you cook. Every amount on screen follows your choice, and Gather remembers it.
Which files can I bring recipes in from?
A bookmarks export from your browser, text, HTML, PDF and Word files, and a Gather recipe CSV. You can also paste a link to a recipe page. Each file can be up to 2 MB. Scanned documents and photos hold no text Gather can read, but your own AI can: see Bring your own AI.
Who can see my recipes?
Only you. Your recipes, plans and shopping lists are private to you, even from other people in your tenant.
