What you can do
- See your holdings. Overview shows a portfolio: its sleeves, its positions and the figures they add up to. Choose a portfolio at the top when your tenant has more than one.
- Browse instruments. Instruments is a catalog every tenant shares. Each row says how many of your positions hold it, so you see the catalog through your own book.
- Research a topic. Research keeps your topics. A topic is one subject: a company, a sector, a theme, politics or macro. Each has a summary and dated notes, and a company topic shows its filings.
- Write a thesis. Write a thesis under a topic, and keep its reasoning up to date on its own page.
- Import figures. Bring a CSV of figures into a topic, where they become notes on that topic.
What Finance does not do
Finance does not show live prices yet. Where it has no price, it says so rather than showing a price of zero. Finance is for research and for seeing what you hold. It does not place trades.
Your language
Finance is available in English, Français, Español and Bosanski. Choose yours in the You sheet.
